Take part in Tunbridge Well’s Santa in the City this December and enjoy a truly festive experience this Christmas.
This 3km fun run is suitable for all abilities so bring the family along. Children run for free and their places can be selected when you sign up. Children must be at least 3 years old to participate and have Child Registration Form completed by a parent/guardian prior to the event. More details below.

Santa in the City is the perfect way to get you, your friends, and your family into the Tunbridge Wells festive spirit!
Every runner is provided with a 5-piece Santa Suit (Hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt), runner number & medal.
Santa Suits can be collected on the day from 12:00 pm from our collection point, Grosvenor & Hilbert Hub, or have it delivered to you in advance, postage fees apply.
If you have already signed up and want to change how you collect your Santa Suit, just email us and we can arrange it for you. Unfortunately paid postage fees cannot be refunded. If you’d like to enter as a team and be invoiced/pay by company credit card for your places just email our team or call the team on 03334441189 and we can arrange everything for you.

On the day of the event...
The Santa in the City run will start at 2.00 pm. If you are collecting your Santa Suit please see info on how to do this below.
All runners must check in to the event, which you can do from 48 hours before the event. Just click the registration link button. shared via the ‘EVENT DAY’ email we send you on the morning of your event or via the Santa in the City home page from 12pm on the day of the event.
There is no bag drop facility at the event.
This is due to security reasons and runner safety is a top priority for us. We follow the advice of the local authorities and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause
Getting your Santa Suit...
Santa suits are ‘ONE SIZE FITS ALL’
I’m collecting my Santa Suit on the day OF the event…
You can collect your Santa Suit on the day from 12.00pm from our collection point, Grosvenor & Hilbert Hub.
If you have already signed up and want to have your Santa Suit posted to you, just email us and we can arrange it for you. Postage fees will apply.
I PAID FOR MY Santa Suit TO BE DELIVERED…
Your Santa Suit will arrive the week before the event. We recommend you select the ‘collection option’ if you are signing up after 25 November.
We can’t guarantee delivery as it is a very busy time of the year, especially if there is a postal strike.
If you want to change to collecting your Santa Suit on the day of the event, just email us but unfortunately, postage fees cannot be refunded.
Once you have signed up…
Once you have signed up and paid for your place you will receive a Santa in the City confirmation email. Your Santa suit will be sent to you in the week before the event if you have selected and paid for delivery.
The Santa in the City run will start at 2.00 p.m. If you lose your confirmation email, don’t worry, just let us know and we’ll send a replacement or just bring your ID with you on the day.
Santa in the City Tunbridge Wells is a step-free accessible course and suitable for runners of all abilities. You don’t even have to run, walking to enjoy the festive route is absolutely fine! Children are welcome and run for free, but all parents/guardians bringing runners under the age of 18, must complete the CHILD REGISTRATION FORM form in advance of the event.

The Route
Your Santa Run 3km route will begin, at the basketball courts near the Grosvenor & Hilbert Park Cafe by the play area within the park. You will run along the walking and cycle paths in the park and around the wetland boardwalk.
You will then run up towards the woodland boardwalk and football pitch and then back to the bowls green. You will complete 3 laps of the park and then return to the basketball court to the finish, where you started from, completing a truly fantastic run!
No previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 3km and you can run, jog or walk. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit and if you want any more information, please do contact our events team on 0330 4441189 or via santa@tfaevents.co.uk. Unfortunately due to the strict security rules, we are unable to offer a bag storage facility.

Children’s Participation
We encourage children to take part in this fantastic fun run and create magical festive memories with family and friends. We take their safety very seriously. Please help us to ensure a fun a safe event for all children by adhering to the following:
Children must be at least 3 years old on the day of the event to take part.
All children (3-18years) must have a Child Registration Form completed by a Parent/Guardian prior to the event.
All Children aged between 3 and 8 years on the day must be accompanied by a registered Adult Participant aged 18 years or more throughout the Event.
The Accompanying Adult can accompany a maximum of 3 children (3-8 yrs old). They shall be responsible for the supervision of these children during the event and keep children within arm's reach at all times.
All children between 9 and 18 years need to be registered, have parental permission to take part and have a responsible adult available at the event.
Please be aware that the course will be marshalled but we cannot guarantee that your child will be in view of a marshal at all times.
Parents/Guardians allow their child to run at their own risk.
Getting there…
If possible we ask participants and supporters to travel to the park on foot, by public transport or by bike. There is no car parking facilities at the park but if you do need to travel by car it is possible to park in the surrounding residential streets.
If you're using SatNav use the postcode TN1 2HU which should get you to the Entrance in Auckland Road. Or for the Hilbert Road entrance use TN2 3SF.
