Santa in the City - LONDON
04 & 05 December 2024 | 7.00 pm | 4.5km
Running places are £28.95 and include a 5-piece Santa Suit and a limited edition medal. Full information is available below and you can also download your runner event information pack.
Children run for free and their places can be selected when you sign up. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Starting at 7.00 pm in Paternoster Square, the run the 4.5km festive fun run on either 04 & 05 December 2024. Just click the date buttons above to get your place while you can!
Santa in the City is the perfect way to get you, your friends, and your family into the London festive spirit!
Every runner is provided with a 5-piece Santa Suit (Hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt), runner number & medal.
When you sign up you need to choose to collect your Santa Suit on the day from 8.30 am from our collection point, Paternoster Square, City of London. Alternativey you can chose to have your suit delivered to you in advance. Postage fees will apply and the last day for postage is 14th November.
If you have already signed up and want to change how you collect your Santa Suit, just email us and we can arrange it for you. Unfortunately paid postage fees cannot be refunded.
If you’d like to enter as a team and be invoiced/pay by company credit card for your places just email Rebecca or call the team on 03334441189 and we can arrange everything for you.
On the day of the event...
The Santa in the City run will start at 7.00 pm. If you are collecting your Santa Suit please see info on how to do this below.
All runners must check-in to the event, which you can do from the morning of the event. Just click the check-in link button. shared via the ‘EVENT DAY’ email we send you on the morning of your event or via the Santa in the City home page.
There is no bag drop facility at the event and toilets.
This is due to security reasons and runner safety is a top priority for us. We follow the advice of the local authorities and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Toilets are available at Paternoster Square which costs 50p to use. Other toilets are available in coffee shops and bars, but with the owner’s permission.
Getting your Santa Suit...
Santa suits are ‘ONE SIZE FITS ALL’
I’m collecting my Santa Suit on the day OF the event…
You can collect your Santa Suit on the day from 8.30am from our collection point, in Paternoster Square, near St Paul’s Cathedral
If possible please do collect it before 5.00pm, as it will get very very busy after then.
If you have already signed up and want to have your Santa Suit posted to you, just email us and we can arrange it for you. Postage fees will apply.
I PAID FOR MY Santa Suit TO BE DELIVERED…
Your Santa Suit will arrive in the last two weeks of November. We recommend you select the ‘collection option’ if you are signing up after 14th November.
We can’t guarantee delivery as it is a very busy time of the year especially if there is a postal strike. If you want to collect your Santa Suit on the day of the event, just email us but unfortunately postage fees cannot be refunded.
Once you have signed up…
Once you have signed up and paid for your place you will receive a Santa in the City confirmation email.

Your Santa suit will be sent to you in late November and you should receive it by 1st December. If you have not received it please email us.
The Santa in the City run will start at 7.00 p.m. If you lose your confirmation email, don’t worry, just let us know and we’ll send a replacement or just bring your ID with you on the day.
Santa in the City is a step-free accessible course and suitable for runners of all abilities. You don’t even have to run, walking to enjoy the festive route is absolutely fine! Children are welcome and run for free, but all parents/guardians bringing runners under the age of 18, must complete and email us the CHILD / JUNIOR REGISTRATION FORM form in advance of the event.

The Route
Your Santa Run 4.5km route will begin, in Paternoster Square just by the majestic St Paul’s Cathedral. You will then run along the North bank where there will be fantastic river views, before crossing the Thames via Southwark bridge.
The route will then take you along the Thames path past Shakespeare’s Globe and then heading towards Tate Modern, where you will cross the river once again, this time over the millenium bridge. You will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the beautifully lit St Paul's Cathedral, before finally returning to Paternoster Square, completing a truly iconic route!
No previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 4.5km, relatively flat and you can run, jog or walk. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit and if you want any more information, please do contact our events team on 0330 4441189 or via info@tfaevents.co.uk.
