Santa in the City, the perfect way to get into the festive spirit!

This year’s festive fun runs will be held on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th December 2025. To mark our 10th Anniversary, we will be launching a Santa Walk on each evening of the event.

You choose whether you want to walk or run, as we have a Santa Walk on 02 December and Santa Runs on 02, 03 & 04 December. Walkers start at 7:00 pm each night, and runners start at 7:15 pm each night.

Every adult participant is provided with a 5-piece Santa Suit (Hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt), participant number & medal. U18s run for free, and their places can be selected when you sign up.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. When you sign up, you need to choose to collect your Santa Suit on the day from our collection points, or have it delivered to you in advance, and postage fees apply.

If you have already signed up and want to change how you collect your Santa Suit, just email us, and we can arrange it for you. Unfortunately, paid postage fees cannot be refunded.

If you’d like to enter as a team, just email Our Team or call the team on 03334441189, and we can arrange everything for you.

The Route

Your Santa Run 4km route will begin in Paternoster Square.

Your route will start by going past St Paul’s Cathedral and then across the Millennium Bridge, where you will enjoy world-famous views of Tower Bridge, The Shard of London, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

You will then go over Southwark Bridge and join the Thames Path, where you will head towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge via some of London’s most unknown hidden paths.

You will then return through the City, back over Southwark Bridge to the lively Bankside area, on the south side of the River Thames.

After another 500m, you will cross the Millennium Bridge again and once again take in the views of St Paul's Cathedral as you head towards the finish line in Paternoster Square, completing a truly iconic route!

No previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 4km, relatively flat, and you can walk or run. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit, and if you want any more information, please do contact our events team on 0330 4441189 or via santa@tfaltd.co.uk. Unfortunately, due to the strict security rules, we are unable to offer a bag storage facility.

Also, do check out our FAQs page, and full Santa run T&C's are available here or at the bottom of this page.

There is no bag drop facility at any Santa in the city event, but you can collect your Santa Suit from 1pm on the day of your event at Paternoster Square (near to St Paul’s Cathedral) or delivered (postage) fees apply) in advance.

Following your registration...

Once you have signed up and paid for your place, you will receive a Santa in the City confirmation email. Your Santa suit will be sent to you in November (if you have paid for postage) and you should receive it by 28th November. If you have not, please email us.

The Santa in the City event will start at 7.00 pm, which you will have chosen during the registration process. If you lose your confirmation email, don’t worry. Just let us know, and we’ll send a replacement, or just bring your ID with you on the day. Please note there is no bag drop facility at the event. If you need to get in touch, email or call the event team via santa@tfaevents.co.uk or 0333 4441189.
