Santa in the City 4km run or walk is back in 2025, and will now be happening on both the 02, 03 and 04 December. We do hope you can join us for London’s most festive and most iconic 4km Santa Run or Walk.

Running or walking for Hylands is the perfect way to get you, your friends, and your family into the festive spirit!
Each Hyland Santa runner and walker receives a Santa Suit (includes a Santa hat & beard), running or walking number, and Medal. All Santa suits are given out on the day of the event.
You can collect your Santa suit from our registration tent in Paternoster Square from 8am on the day of the event. Delivery is available, just speak to our team to arrange this.
The places are £26.50 each. They’re going fast so don’t hang about! Ho ho ho!
The Route
After the traditional Santa Parade from Paternoster Square to the start line, the Millennium Bridge, your 4km will begin by running or walking over the Thames and enjoying the world-famous views of Tower Bridge and the Shard.
The route then takes you along the historic south embankment, past the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, some of London's oldest pubs, like the Anchor and past Borough Market.
You will cross over Southwark Bridge and hug the north embankment running or walking towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
You will then return through the City, back over Southwark Bridge and towards St Paul's Cathedral, via Millennium Bridge to the finish line on St Peter’s Hill, completing a truly iconic route!
No previous experience is needed for a 4km run or walk like this. The route is relatively flat and you can run, jog or walk. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit and if you want any more information, please do contact our events team on 0330 4441189 or via santa@tfaltd.co.uk. Unfortunately due to the strict security rules, we are unable to offer a bag storage facility.

Following your registration...
Once you have signed up and paid for your place you will receive a Santa in the City confirmation email. Please bring your Santa in the City confirmation email to the Santa in the City check-in desk located in Paternoster Square. This check-in desk will be open from 8.00am - 7pm on the day of the event and when you check-in you will be given your Santa Suit and running number.
Santa Suits are all one-size, but adjustable to fit all. At 6.15pm there will be the traditional Santa Parade, where all the Santa’s will walk from Paternoster Square to the start line, the Northbank of the Millennium Bridge. If you lose your confirmation email, don’t worry, just let us know and we’ll you send a replacement or just bring ID with you on the day. Please note the is not a bag storage facility at the event.
